Federal Decree No. 83/1989 Ratifying the Convention of Avoidance of Double Taxation on Income Between the United Arab Emirates and the French Republic

We, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates

Having perused the provisional*^[1] Constitution,

The Federal Law No. 1/1972, on the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, and its amending laws,

And according to the proposal of the State Minister for Finance and Industry Affairs, the approval of the Council of Ministers and the ratification of the Federal Supreme Council,

Issued the following Decree:

Article 1

The Convention of Avoidance of Double Taxation on Income between the United Arab Emirates and the French Republic, of which the text is enclosed to this Decree, was approved.

Article 2

The Ministers, each in his own competence, shall implement this Decree and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
