Federal Decree No. 74/2014 On the Ratification of an Agreement Between the Government of the State and the Government of the Republic of India for the Encouragement and Protection of Investment

We, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan President of the United Arab Emirates

After perusal of the Constitution,

The Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, and its amending laws,

And according to the suggestion of the Minister of Finance, the approval of the Council of Ministers and the ratification of the Federal Supreme Council,

Issued the following Decree:

Article 1

The Agreement between the Government of the State and the Government of the Republic of India on the Promotion and Protection of Investment, signed in New Delhi on 12 December 2013, of which the texts are enclosed, shall be ratified.

Article 2

The Minister of Finance shall implement this Decree and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
