Federal Decree No. 62/1998 Agreement on Economic, Trade and Technical Co-operation Between the Government of the United Arab Emirates and the Government of Romania
The Government of the United Arab Emirates and the Government of Romania, hereinafter referred to as “Contracting Parties”.
Desirous of strengthen the relations of friendship and develop the economic, trade and technical cooperation between the two countries on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.
Have agreed as follows:
Article 1
The Contracting Parties shall make efforts aimed at developing and strengthening economic, trade and technical co-operation between the two countries, in particular in the fields of trade, industry, energy and oil, agriculture, transport, telecommunication, financial - banking, tourism and investment, in accordance with the laws in force in the two countries.
Article 2
In order to implement the economic, trade and technical co-operation in the fields mentioned in Article 1 which are not exclusive, the specialized organizations, companies and authorized natural persons of the two countries, will prepare in this respect, studies aimed at exploring the possibilities to execute the identified projects, including also the ways and means for their financing.
