Federal Decree No. 32/2006 Concerning the Accession of the United Arab Emirates to Cape Town Convention and Aircraft Protocol

We, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates,
Pursuant to the perusal of the Constitution,
Federal Law No. 1/1972 concerning the competencies of ministries and the powers of ministers, and its amendments; and
Based on what was presented by the Minister of Governmental Sector Development - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), the approval of the Cabinet, and the approval of the Federal Supreme Council.
Issued the following Decree:
Article 1
The accession of the United Arab Emirates to Cape Town Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Protocol to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment was approved.
Article 2
The Minister of Government Sector Development - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Civil Aviation Authority shall implement the present Decree, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
