Federal Decree No. 21/1975 On the Accession of the United Arab Emirates to the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO)
We, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates,
Pursuant to the perusal of the Provisional Constitution of the United Arab Emirates*[1];
Based on the proposal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the approval of the Council of Ministers, and
the ratification of the Federal Supreme Council,
Have decreed as follows:
Article 1
The accession of the United Arab Emirates to the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), established pursuant to the Convention signed in Stockholm on 14 July 1967, the text of which is attached to this Decree, is hereby approved.
Article 2
The Ministers shall, each within the scope of competence thereof, implement this Decree which shall be published in the Official Gazette.
