Federal Decree No. 166/2020 On the Accession of the State to the International Convention on Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage, 2001

We, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates,

After perusal of the Constitution,

And of Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, and its amendments,

And based on the approval of the Council of Ministers, and the ratification of the Federal Supreme Council,

Have issued the following Decree:

Article 1

The accession of the State to the International Convention on Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage, 2001, of which provisions are enclosed herewith, was approved.

Article 2

The Chairman of the Federal Authority for Land and Maritime Transport shall implement this Decree which shall be published in the Official Gazette.
