Federal Decree No. 12/2014 On the Ratification of the Free Trade Agreement Between the EFTA States and the Member States of the Co-operation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf

We, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE,

After perusal of the Constitution;

Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments, and

Based on the proposal made by the Minister of Economy, the approval of the Cabinet, and the ratification of the Federal Supreme Council;

Have issued the following Decree:

Article 1

The free trade agreement between the EFTA states and the member states of the Co-operation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, signed in Hamar, in the Kingdom of Norway on 22 June 2009, the texts of which are attached hereto, has been ratified.

Article 2

The Minister of Economy shall implement this Decree which shall be published in the Official Gazette.
