Federal Decree No. 121/2011 On the Ratification of the Multi-Means Transport Agreement for Goods among the Arab States
We, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State of the United Arab Emirates,
After perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the competencies of the Ministries and powers of the Minister and the amending laws;
Based on the proposal of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Transport Authority, the approval of the Cabinet and the ratification of the Federal Supreme Council;
Have decreed the following:
Article 1
The Convention on Multimodal Transport OF Goods between the Arab Countries has been ratified upon the signature thereof by the State at the headquarters of the Secretariat-General of the Arab League in Cairo on 31 May 2011. Said Convention is hereby annexed to the present Decree.
Article 2
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Transport Authority shall implement the present Decree which shall be published in the Official Gazette.
