We, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates State,

After perusal of the Constitution,

Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of Ministries and Powers of Ministers, and its amendments;

Federal Decree-Law No. 8/1984 on the Retirement Pensions and Benefits of the Military, and its amendments;

Federal Decree-Law No. 1/2008 on the civil service at the Ministry of Interior;

Federal Decree No. 40/2008 on the Salaries, Commissions and Allowances of the Members of Police and Security Forces at the Ministry of Interior;

And according to the suggestion of the Minister of Interior and the approval of the Cabinet,

Issued the following Decree-Law:
