Federal Decree-Law No. 27/2021 On the Establishment and Regulation of the Emirati Cadres Competitiveness Council

We, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates State,

After perusal of the Constitution,

Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the Competencies of Ministries and Powers of Ministers, and its amendments;

Federal Decree-Law No. 4/2004 on the establishment and regulation of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs;

And according to the suggestion of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and the approval of the Cabinet;

Issued the following Decree-Law:

Article 1 - Definitions

In application of the provisions of this Decree-Law, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings stated beside them, unless the context requires otherwise:

State: The United Arab Emirates

Cabinet: Cabinet of the State.

Minister: Minister of Presidential Affairs.

Council: Emirati Cadres Competitiveness Council.

Board of Directors: Board of Directors of the Council.

Chairman of the Board: Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Secretary General: Secretary General of the Council.

Government Entities: Ministries, federal and local authorities, entities and departments and companies wholly owned by federal or local Government Entities.
