Federal Decree-Law No. 15/2018 dated 23/09/2018
We, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates,
After perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the Competencies of Ministries and Powers of Ministers, and its amendments;
Federal Decree-Law No. 15/2018 on the Collection of Revenues and Public Funds, and its amendments;
Federal Decree-Law No. 26/2019 on Public Finance, and its amendments;
Federal Decree-Law No. 42/2022 on the Promulgation of the Civil Procedure Law;
Based on the proposal of the Minister of Finance, and the approval of the Cabinet,
Have issued the following Decree-Law:
Article 1 - Definitions
In application of the provisions of this Decree-Law, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned thereto, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: The United Arab Emirates.
Ministry: Ministry of Finance.
Minister: The Minister of Finance.
Federal Government: The Government of the State of the United Arab Emirates.
Federal Entity: Ministries and federal public authorities and institutions.
Creditor: The federal entity to which the debtor owes a debt.
