Federal Decision No. 87/2024 On the Rules and Conditions for Deferral and Exemption from Payment of Judicial Fees
The Federal Judiciary Council,
Pursuant to the perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Decree-Law No. 32/2022 on the Federal Judiciary;
Federal Decree-Law No. 38/2022 on the promulgation of the Criminal Procedure Law and its amendments;
Federal Decree-Law No. 42/2022 on the Promulgation of the Civil Procedure Law;
Federal Law No. 13/2016 on judicial fees before Federal courts and its amendments;
Cabinet Decision No. 87/4w/8/2012 on the Exemption of Persons Unable to Pay Judicial Fees Due to the Government; and
Based on the proposal of the Secretary-General of the Council and the approval of the Federal Judiciary Council,
Hereby decides as follows:
Article 1 - Scope of Application
This Decision shall apply to all requests for deferral or exemption from the payment of judicial fees before federal courts, except for cases of legal exemption from payment of judicial fees.
