Ministerial Decision No. 604/2022 Concerning the Unemployment Insurance Scheme

The Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation,
Pursuant to the perusal of Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, and its amendments,
Federal Decree-Law No. 33/2021 on the Regulation of Labour Relations, its amendments and its Implementing Regulation;
Federal Decree-Law No. 13/2022 concerning Unemployment Insurance; and
Cabinet Decision No. 97/2022 on the mechanisms and controls for implementing the
Unemployment Insurance Scheme,
Has decided:
Article 1 - Definitions
The definitions contained in Federal Decree-Law No. 13/2022 and Cabinet Decision No. 97/2022 referred to in this Decision shall apply, in addition to the following definition:
Insurance Certificate: Insurance Certificate issued by the Service Provider that confirms the insurance coverage and shows the certificate number and the Unified Number of the worker/employee covered by the Insurance Coverage and summarizes the main aspects and conditions of the Insurance Policy.
