Federal Decision No. 39/2025 On the Regulation of the Bankruptcy Court
The Federal Judicial Council:
After perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Decree-Law No. 32/2022 on the Federal Judicial Authority and its amendments;
Federal Decree-Law No. 42/2022 on the Promulgation of the Civil Procedure Law;
Federal Decree-Law No. 51/2023 on the Promulgation of the Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy Law; and
Based on the proposal of the Secretary-General of the Council and the approval of the Federal Judicial Council,
Has decided the following:
Article 1 - Definitions
In application of the provisions of the present Decision, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned thereto, unless the context requires otherwise:
Council: The Federal Judicial Council.
Court: The Bankruptcy Court established pursuant to the provisions of Federal Decree-Law No. 51/2023 on the promulgation of the Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy Law;
Department: Bankruptcy Department
Decree-Law: Federal Decree-Law No. 51/2023 on the promulgation of the Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy Law.
