DECISION NO. 30/2005 BY THE DEPUTY COMMANDER - IN -CHIEF OF THE ARMED FORCES ON THE IMPLEMENTING REGULATION OF THE FEDERAL LAW NO. 7/2004 ON THE PERSONNEL SERVICE IN THE ARMED FORCES

Pursuant to the perusal of the Federal Decree No. 83/2004 on the appointment of a Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces; and

Decision of the Supreme Defense Council No. 1/1976 regarding the Unification of the Armed Forces in the United Arab Emirates State; and

Federal Law No. 7/2004 on the Personnel Service in the Armed Forces; and

Acting upon the proposal of the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces,

Have promulgated the following Implementing Regulation:

Article 1 - Competent Authority of Conscription:

The conscription of the national personnel in the Armed Forces from the rank of Private to Staff Warrant Officer shall be within the jurisdiction of the Manpower Directorate.

Article 2 - Rank Granted to Personnel upon Conscription:
