Abrogating

Ministerial Decision No. 92/2022

The Cabinet,

Pursuant to the perusal of the Constitution;

Based on the proposal of the Minister of Health and Prevention, and its approval by the Cabinet,

Has decided:

Article 1 - Definitions

In application of the provisions of this Decision, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned against each, unless the context requires otherwise:

  • State: State of the United Arab Emirates.

  • Minister: Minister of the Presidential Court

  • Committee: Supreme National Committee for Unified Procurement, formed by virtue of the provisions of this decision.

  • Government Programmes: Appropriations allocated by the government in exchange for medical, therapeutic or preventive services that are provided free of charge or with support to some groups in accordance with what the Committee decides.

  • Unified Procurement: All procurements and management of the needs of each of the State, the federal and local government entities and authorities for medicines and medical supplies and equipment subject to the provisions of this Decision.
