Cabinet Decision No. 64/2024 On the Implementing Rules for Applying the Provisions of the System of Insurance Protection Extension for Citizens of the GCC Countries Working Outside Their Countries in Any of the Other GCC Countries
The Council of Ministers,
Pursuant to the perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Decree-Law No. 57/2023 on pensions and social security;
Cabinet Decision No. 18/2007 on the implementing rules for applying the provisions of the system of insurance protection extension for citizens of the GCC countries working outside their countries in any of the other GCC countries; and
Based on the proposal of the Minister of Finance, and the approval of the Council of Ministers;
Hereby decides as follows:
Article 1
The insurance protection extension system issued by virtue of Cabinet Decision No. (18) of 2007 concerning the implementing rules for the provisions of the insurance protection extension system, referred to, shall apply to citizens of the GCC countries working in the State, and to citizens of the State who work for any of the GCC countries who are subject to the provisions of Federal Decree Law No. (57) of 2023 concerning pensions and social insurance.
