Abrogating

Cabinet Decision No. 14/1980

The Cabinet:

Having reviewed the Constitution,

Federal Law No. 1/1972 Regarding the Competences of the Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, as amended;

Federal Decree-Law No. 26/2019 Regarding Public Finance;

Cabinet Decision No. 14/1980 Regarding the Establishment of the UAE National Commission for Education, Culture, and Science, as amended;

Cabinet Decision No. 7/2021 Regarding the Organizational Structure of the Ministry of Culture and Youth; and

Upon the proposal of the Minister of Culture and Youth, and the approval of the Cabinet,

Hereby resolves as follows:

Article 1 - Definitions

For the purposes of implementing the provisions of this Resolution, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned to each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:

The State: The United Arab Emirates.

Ministry: The Ministry of Culture and Youth.

Minister: The Minister of Culture and Youth.

National Commission: The UAE National Commission for Education, Culture, and Science.

Chairman: The Chairperson of the National Commission.
