Cabinet Decision No. 56/2025 On Private Mediation Centres and Branches of Foreign Mediation Centres
The Council of Ministers,
After perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the competencies of Ministries and powers of Ministers, and its amendments;
Federal Decree-Law No. 32/2021 on Commercial Companies;
Cabinet Decision No. 21/2022 on regulating the Profession of Expertise before the Judicial Authorities;
Federal Decree-Law No. 40/2023 on mediation and conciliation in civil and commercial disputes; and
Based on the Proposal of the Minister of Justice, and its approval by the Council of Ministers,
Has decided the following:
Article 1 - Definitions
The definitions that appear in aforementioned Federal Decree-Law No. 40/2023 shall apply to this Decision. Otherwise, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned against each, unless the context requires otherwise: Unless the context requires otherwise:
Ministry: The Ministry of Justice.
Minister: The Minister of Justice.
Department: The Federal Judicial Inspection Department.
Private Mediation Centre: A licensed centre that provides mediation services in civil and commercial disputes in the State, as per any of the forms specified in Article (4) of this Decision.
