Cabinet Decision No. 47/2018 On the Adoption of the Unified National Standards for Hospitals

The Council of Ministers,
Pursuant to the perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the Competencies of the Ministries and powers of the Ministers, and its amendments;
Federal Law No. 29/2006 on the Rights of People with Special Needs, and its amendments;
Federal Decree-Law No. 18/2009 on Regulating the Registration of the Births and Deaths;
Federal Law No. 4/2015 on Private Healthcare Facilities;
Federal Decree-Law No. 4/2016 on Medical Liability;
And acting upon the proposal of the Minister of Health and Prevention, and the approval of the Cabinet,
Hereby decides as follows:
Article 1
The Unified National Standards for Hospitals attached to this Decision are hereby approved.
Article 2
The standards attached to this Decision shall come into force as the minimum standards applicable to all hospitals in the country, without prejudice to the application of higher standards established by the relevant health authorities within their respective competencies.
