Cabinet Decision No. 46/2024 On the Implementing Regulation of Federal Law No. 4/2023 on Sports

The Cabinet,

After perusal of the Constitution;

Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, and its amendments;

Federal Law No. 4/2023 on Sports;

And based on the proposal of the Chairman of the General Authority of Sports, and the approval of the Cabinet,

Has decided as follows:

Article 1 - Definitions

The definitions contained in Federal Law No. 4/2023 referred to above shall apply to the present Decision. Otherwise, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned thereto, unless the context requires otherwise:

  • Law: Federal Law No. 4/2023 on Sports.

  • Concerned Government Entities: The Authority or any relevant government entity authorised by the Authority to license sports professions.

  • Sports Professions: Every work or job related to sports affairs in accordance with the professions mentioned in this Decision.

  • Professional Accreditation: Accreditation of the technical or academic qualification of a person wishing to practise any of the sports professions mentioned in this Decision, which qualifies him to obtain a licence to practise the sports profession.
