Cabinet Decision No. 43/2018 On the Support of Employment of Persons with Disabilities (People of Determination)
The Cabinet,
Having perused the Constitution,
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the Competencies of Ministries and Powers of Ministers, and its amendments;
Federal Law No. 8/1980 regulating employment relationships, and its amending laws;
Federal Law No. 29/2006 on the Rights of People with Special Needs, and its amendments;
Federal Decree-Law No. 11/2008 on Human Resources in the Federal Government, and its amendments;
Cabinet Decision No. 1/6/2017 on the Approval of the National Policy for Empowering People of Determination;
And according to the suggestion of the Minister of Community Development and the approval of the Cabinet,
Decided:
Article 1 - Definitions
In the implementation of the provisions of this Decision, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings stated beside them unless the context requires otherwise:
State: The United Arab Emirates.
Ministry: Ministry of Community Development.
Relevant Authorities: Federal and local government entities, private sector institutions and establishments, including foreign institutions operating in the State, their branches and charity associations and establishments, clubs, profit and non-profit organisations.
