The Council of Ministers,
After perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Decree-Law No. 57/2022 on the establishment of the UAE Media Council;
Federal Decree-Law No. 55/2023 on Media Regulation;
Cabinet Decision No. 39/2016 on the fees of media services in the Free Zones;
Cabinet Decision No. 86/2020 on the fees for services provided by the Ministry of Culture and Youths;
Cabinet Decision No. 62/2023 on the fees for some media services;
Cabinet Decision No. 68/2024 on the Implementing Regulation of Federal Decree-Law No. 55/2023 on the regulation of media; and
Based on the proposal of the Minister of Finance, and the approval of the Council of Ministers,
Has decided the following:
Article 1 - Definitions
The definitions mentioned in Federal Decree-Law No. 55/2023 on Media Regulation shall apply to this Decision. Otherwise, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned against each, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: The United Arab Emirates.
Council: The UAE Media Council.
