Cabinet Decision No. 41/2017 On the Determination of Social Service Actions
The Cabinet,
Pursuant to the perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments;
The Penal Code promulgated by Federal Law No. 3/1987 and its amendments;
The Criminal Procedure Law promulgated by Federal Law No. 35/1992 and its amendments; and
Based on the proposal of the Minister of Justice and the approval of the Cabinet,
Has issued the following Decision:
Article 1
The social service actions which may be imposed on a convict under the provisions of Article 120 of the Penal Code referred to above shall be among the following:
1- Memorising (Hifz or Tahfiz) available parts of the Holy Quran.
2- Serving in the care centres for persons with disabilities.
3- Serving in nursing homes.
4- Serving in juvenile care centres.
5- Serving in nurseries or kindergartens.
6- Serving in maternity and childhood centres or women's associations.
7- Service in traffic departments.
8- Works of relief or transfer of injured persons.
9- Civil defence works.
10- Collecting donations or distributing aids and subsidies.
