Cabinet Decision No. 40/2016 On Dissolving the National Climate Change Committee
The Cabinet,
Pursuant to the perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments;
Cabinet Decision No. 23/2010 on the National Climate Change Committee;
Cabinet Decision No. 5/8/2016 on the Establishment and Formation of the UAE Council for Climate Change and Environment; and
Based on the proposal of the Minister of Climate Change and Environment,
Has issued the following Decision:
Article 1
The National Climate Change Committee formed by virtue of Cabinet Decision No. 23/2010 referred to above shall be dissolved.
Article 2
Cabinet Decision No. 23/2010 on the National Climate Change Committee, and every provision that is inconsistent with or contradicts the provisions hereof shall be abrogated.
Article 3
The present Decision shall come into force from the date of issuance thereof and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
