Cabinet Decision No. 39/2021 On the Implementing Regulation of Federal Law No. 12/2018 on the Integrated Waste Management
The Cabinet,
After perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the competencies of the Ministries and powers of the Ministers, and its amendments;
Federal Law No. 12/2018 on the integrated waste management; and
Based on the proposal of the Minister of Climate Change and Environment, and the approval of the Cabinet;
Has decided:
Article 1 - Definitions
The definitions mentioned in aforementioned Federal Law No. 12/2018 shall apply to this Decision, and the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned thereto unless the context requires otherwise:
Animal waste: Waste generated from animal tissue, liquids or secretions resulting from animal farming activities or manufacturing practices, including dead animals and manure obtained from animals which are not infected with an epidemic disease, as well as slaughterhouse wastes.
Battery Waste: Expired or non-expired batteries, in case the user wishes to get rid thereof or to dispose of a part of their components.
