Cabinet Decision No. 35/2019 On the Implementing Regulation of Federal Law No. 14/2017 On Trading in Petroleum Products
The Cabinet,
Pursuant to the perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments;
Federal Law No. 14/2017 on Trading in Petroleum Products;
Cabinet Decision No. 11/2011 approving the UAE Regulation concerning the application of UAE standard specifications and the mandatory requirements for liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, and its amendments;
Cabinet Decision No. 21/2015 on the UAE Scheme for Control on Petroleum Derivatives; and
Based on the proposal of the Minister of Energy and Industry
Has issued the following Decision:
Article 1
The definitions listed in Article (1) of Federal Law No. 14/2017 referred to herein shall apply.
Article 2 - Establishment of the Register
1- A special register called “Register for Trade in Petroleum Products” shall be established in the Ministry, wherein the particulars of the Licensees and the facilities and means of transport through which the trade takes place shall be recorded.
