Cabinet Decision No. 35/2016 On the Implementing Regulation to Federal Law No 2/2014 on the Small and Medium-size Enterprises and Establishments
The Cabinet,
Pursuant to the perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments;
Federal Law No. 2/2014 on small and medium enterprises; and
Based on the proposal of the Minister of Economy and the approval of the Cabinet,
Has issued the following Decision:
Article 1 - Definitions
In application of the provisions hereof, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned thereto unless the context requires otherwise:
State: UAE
Ministry: Ministry of Economy
Minister: Minister of Economy
Law: Federal Law no. (2) of 2013 on small and medium enterprises
Enterprises and Establishments: Any unincorporated or enterprise or company engaged in an economic activity, whether small-sized inter alia micro- sized or medium-sized.
Council: Council: Small-and-Medium-Sized Enterprises Council
Program: National Program for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises
