Cabinet Decision No. 30/2017 On the Regulation of Traffic Services and Traffic Safety
The Cabinet,
After perusal of the Constitution,
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the Competencies of Ministries and Powers of Ministers, and its amendments;
Federal Law No. 21/1995 on Traffic, and its amendments;
Federal Law No. 1/2011 on the general revenues of the UAE;
Federal Decree-Law No. 8/2011 on the rules for the preparation of the general budget and final accounts;
Federal Law No. 9/2011 on Land Transport;
Cabinet Decision No. 6/1994 on the amendment and introduction of some Fees Prescribed for the Transactions of Naturalisation, Immigration Traffic and Weapon Licenses Department and its amendments;
And according to the suggestion of the Minister of Finance and the approval of the Cabinet,
Decided:
Article 1 - Definitions
In applying the provisions of this Decision, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings stated next to them, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: The United Arab Emirates.
Emirate: Any Emirate of the State.
Ministry: Ministry of Interior.
Minister: Minister of Interior.
