Cabinet Decision No. 2/2013 On Supporting Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises
The Cabinet:
- After perusal of the Constitution ,
- The Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, and its amending laws,
And based on the approval of the Cabinet,
Decided:
Article 1
In the implementation of the provisions of this Decision, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings stated beside them, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: United Arab Emirates
Ministry: Ministry of Economy
Minister: Minister of Economy
Small and medium-sized enterprises: Small and medium-sized enterprises belonging to the programs of youth enterprises funding support in all local government agencies in the State.
Article 2
This Decision aims at the support and development of small and medium-sized enterprises in order to support the national economy and take advantage of these enterprises in a way developing and supporting economic integration, encouraging national youth and entrepreneurs, increasing their contribution in the economic activity of the State and creating job opportunities for the State nationals.
