The Council of Ministers:
- After perusal of Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments;
- Federal Law No. 15/1980 on Publications and Publishing;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 5/2012 on Combating Cyber-Crimes and its amendments;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 2/2015 on Combating Discrimination and Hatred;
- Federal Law No. 3/2016 on the Rights of the Child ("Wadeema's Law");
- Federal Law No. 11/2016 on the Regulation and Competencies of the National Information Council;
- Federal Law No. 14/2016 on Violations and Administrative Penalties in the Federal Government; and
- Based on the approval of the Council of Ministers,
Has issued the following Decision:
Article 1 - Definitions
In the application of the provisions of this Decision, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings assigned thereto, unless the context indicates otherwise:
State: United Arab Emirates.
Council: The National Media Council.
Chairman: The Chairman of the Council's Board of Directors.
