Cabinet Decision No. 1/2022 On the Implementing Regulation of Federal Decree-Law No. 33/2021 Regarding the Regulation of Employment Relationships

The Council of Ministers:

After perusal of the Constitution,

Federal Law No. 1/1972 regarding the Competencies of Ministries and Powers of Ministers, and its amendments,

Federal Decree-Law No. 33/2021 regarding the Regulation of Employment Relationships,

And Federal Decree-Law No. 47/2021 regarding the Uniform Rules of Work in the United Arab Emirates,

And based on the proposal of the Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and the approval of the Council of Ministers,

Has Decided:

Article 1 - Definitions

The same definitions set out in the Decree-Law shall apply hereto. Apart from that, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned against each, unless the context requires otherwise:

  • Decree-Law: Federal Decree-Law No. 33/2021 regarding the Regulation of Employment Relationships.

  • Legal Regulations: Set of decisions, guidelines and circulars related to the work of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

Article 2 - Classification of Establishments

Subject to the provisions of Clause (1) of Article 70 of the Decree-Law:
