Cabinet Decision No. 17/2002 Concerning the Formation of the National Committee of Environmental Strategy and Sustainable Development and the Determination of its Competences

The Cabinet,
Pursuant to the perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments;
Federal Law No. 7/1993 on the formation of the Federal Environment Agency and its amendments;
Federal Law No. 24/1999 on the Protection and Development of the Environment;
Cabinet Decision No. 3/2002 on the adoption of the National Environmental Strategy and the Environmental Action Plan for UAE; and
Based on the proposal of the Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Environment Agency and the approval of the Cabinet,
Has issued the following Decision:
Article 1
A permanent Committee called (National Committee of Environmental Strategy and Sustainable Development) shall be formed at the Federal Environment Agency with HE Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Environment Agency as chairman and members from among representatives of the following bodies:
