Cabinet Decision No. 14/2019 On the Regulation of Issuance of Temporary Licences for Futuristic Innovative Projects
After perusal of the Constitution,
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments,
Federal Decree-Law No. 25/2018 on the Futuristic Projects,
And upon the approval of the Council of Ministers,
Decided the following:
Article 1 - Definitions
In applying the provisions of this Decision, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned against each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: The United Arab Emirates.
General Secretariat: The General Secretariat of the Cabinet.
Government Entity: Any federal or local entity which is responsible for the regulation and supervision or control of the Innovative Project.
Innovative Project: Any project which is applied by modern technologies of future character or by using artificial intelligence tools, and not governed by any legislation in the State.
Person: A physical or juristic Person.
Licensee: The Person having a Temporary Licence according to the provisions of this Law.
