After perusal of Federal Law No. 26/1981 on the Commercial Maritime Law, and its amending laws;

Federal Law No. 1/2006 on e-commerce and transactions;

Cabinet Decision No. 52/2006 on the regulation of the Federal Authority for Land and Maritime Transport;

Administrative Decision No. 40/2013 on the Organisational Structure of the Federal Authority for Land and Maritime Transport;

And according to the work requirements,

Article 1

In applying the provisions of this Decision, the following terms shall have the meanings stated next to them, unless the context requires otherwise: Without contradicting the provisions of international maritime conventions ratified by the State.

State	State of the United Arab Emirates.
Authority	Federal Authority for Land and Maritime Transport in its capacity as the State Maritime Administration.
Certificate
