Federal Administrative Decision No. 78/2016 On the Approval of the Technical Requirements for the Registration of the Testing and Calibration Laboratories

The Chairman of the Board,*[1]

Having perused the Federal Law No. 28/2001 on the Establishment of the Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology, and its amendments;

Based on the Cabinet Decision No. 35/2015 on the UAE Scheme for the Control of the Conformity Assessment Bodies;

And based on the Decision of the Board of Directors in its meeting no. (2) of 2016 dated June 23, 2016, approving the technical requirements for the registration of the testing and calibration laboratories,

Decided the following:

Article 1

Approval of the technical requirements for the registration of the testing and calibration laboratories enclosed to this Decision.

Article 2

The concerned authorities shall implement this Decision. It shall enter into effect on the day following the date of publication thereof in the Official Gazette.
