Federal Administrative Decision No. 6/2016 On the Approval of the Regulation Governing the Spectrum Drawings in the State of UAE

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA),

After perusal of Federal Decree-Law No. 3/2003 on the Regulation of the communications sector and its Implementing Regulation, as amended;

Decision of the Board of Directors No. 35/2009 on the Regulation of the Frequency Spectrum Charges in the United Arab Emirates; and

Based on what was proposed by the Director-General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) and the approval of the Authority's Board of Directors thereon during its meeting dated 19 October 2015,

Decided the following:

Article 1

The Regulation of the Frequency Spectrum Charges in the UAE shall be approved pursuant to this Decision in the form here-attached.

Article 2

Any text in any other decision shall be abrogated to the extent it contradicts the provisions of this Decision.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force as of the first of January 2017 and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
