Federal Administrative Decision No. 40/2015 On the Adoption of UAE Standards

The Chairman of the Board of Directors,

Pursuant to the perusal of Federal Decision No. 28/2001 on the establishment of the Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology and its amendments; and

Based on the decision of the Board of Directors No. 1/2015 taken during its meeting and dated 28 May 2015 on the adoption of UAE standards;

Have issued the following Decision:

Article 1

The 220 Gulf standards mentioned in annexed list no.1 shall be adopted as UAE standards.

Article 2

The 3149 Gulf standards mentioned in annexed list no.2 shall be adopted as UAE standards by certification of ISO and IEC.

Article 3

The present Decision as well as the two abovementioned annexed lists shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force as of the next day of its publication.
