Federal Administrative Decision No. 39/2015 On the Adoption of UAE Standards

The Chairman of the Board of Directors,

- Pursuant to the perusal of Federal Decision No. 28/2001 on the establishment of the Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology and its amendments;

- Cabinet Decision No. 18/2014 on the UAE Regulation for Cosmetics and Personal Care Products; and

- Based on the decision of the Board of Directors No. 1/2015 taken during its meeting and dated 28 May 2015 on the adoption of UAE standards;

Have issued the following Decision:

Article 1

The following UAE standards which titles and numbers are mentioned in the annexed lists shall be adopted as UAE standards:

1- List no. 1 comprising 6 standards in the field of electrical and electronic products.

2- List no. 2 comprising 5 standards in the field of cosmetics and personal Care products.

Article 2

Standards mentioned in list no. 2 in paragraph no. 2 of article no.1 of the present Decision shall be added to the list of the adopted standards mentioned in annex no. 1 of the UAE Regulation for Cosmetics and Personal Care Products.
