Federal Administrative Decision No. 34/2014 On the Adoption of Emirati Standard Specifications

The Chairman of the Board of Directors,

After perusal of Federal Law No. 28/2001 concerning the Establishment of Emirates Standardization and Metrology Authority (ESMA), and its amendments, and

Based on the Decision of the Board of Directors at its meeting no. (2) of 2014, A Set of UAE Standards and Unified Emirates and Gulf Standards proposed to the Board.

Has decided the following:

Article 1

UAE standards which titles and numbers are indicated in the following two lists shall be approved:

- List No. (1) including (112) new Emirates and Gulf Standards in number of sectors.

- List No. (2) including (55) updated Emirates and Gulf Standards in number of sectors.

Article 2

This decision along with the two lists number (1) and (2) shall be published in the official gazette and shall come into force as of the publication date.
