Pursuant to Saudi Arabia Cabinet Decision No. 488/1442 dated 24/8/1442 H., which includes the approval to establish a centre under the name of “Heavy Equipment Regulatory Centre”, and with reference to Paragraph (Fourth) of aforementioned regulatory arrangements, which stipulates that: “The Centre shall have a supervisory committee chaired by the Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organisation";

With reference to Paragraph (Fifth) of aforementioned regulatory arrangements, which stipulates that: “The Supervisory Committee shall supervise the Centre and follow up on the implementation of its work to ensure the achievement of the objective of its establishment.”

And with reference to the meeting of the Supervisory Committee No. (5) held on 24/9/1445 H., the Committee's Decision No. (03/05/2024) On the Approval of the Controls for Inspection and Control Bodies for Heavy Equipment Safety was issued pursuant to Document No. (L.M.Th-05-24-04-01).
