Qatar Cabinet Decision No. 17/2024 On the Formation of the Document Valuation Committee and Its Rules of Procedure and Working Methods and the Determination of the Remuneration of Its Members

The Council of Ministers,

Pursuant to the perusal of the Constitution;

Qatar Law No. 7/2023 on Documents and Archives;

Qatar Emiri Decision No. 29/1996 on Cabinet Decisions presented to the Emir for ratification and issuance;

Qatar Emiri Decision No. 29/2023 on the regulation of Qatari Dar al-watha'iq (the National Archive);

Qatar Cabinet Decision No. 9/1993 on the regulation of the work of the Joint and Specialised Committees, and its amending decisions;

Based on the proposal of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Qatari Dar al-watha'iq (the National Archive),

Has decided as follows:

Article 1

The Document Valuation Committee shall consist of three representatives of the National Archive, including the Chairman and his deputy, with the membership of a representative of each of the following entities:

  • Ministry of Finance.

  • Ministry of Justice.

  • Ministry of Culture

  • Qatar Museums Authority.
