Qatar Cabinet Decision No. 12/2024 On the Establishment of a Permanent Committee for Managing Visitor Entry to the State of Qatar (Hayya Platform)

The Council of Ministers,

After perusal of the Constitution;

Qatar Law No. 21/2015 on regulating the entry, exit and residence of expatriates, and the laws amending it;

Qatar Law No. 13/2016 on the protection of the privacy of personal data;

Qatar Emiri Decision No. 29/1996 on Cabinet Decisions referred to the Emir for ratification and issuance;

Qatar Cabinet Decision No. 9/1993 on the regulation of the work of the Joint and Specialised Committees, and its amending decisions; and 

Based on the proposal of the Minister of Interior,

Has decided as follows:

Article 1

A committee named “Permanent Committee for Managing Visitor Entry to the State of Qatar (Hayya Platform) shall be established under the chairmanship of the representative of the Ministry of Interior, and the representative of the State Security Service as a Deputy-Chairman, and shall consist of the following members:

  1. A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  2. Three representatives of the Ministry of Interior.

  3. The representative of the Ministry of Labour.
