Oman Sultani Decree No. 99/2020 Amending Some Ministerial Titles

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

Oman Sultani Decree No. 39/1996 Determining the Competences of the Ministry of Finance and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

Oman Sultani Decree No. 32/2008 Promulgating the Law Governing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The title of “Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs” wherever it occurs in laws and royal decrees is hereby replaced with the title “Minister of Foreign Affairs.”

Article 2

The title of “Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs” wherever it occurs in laws and royal decrees is hereby replaced with the title “Minister of Finance.”

Article 3

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article 4

This  decree  shall  be  published  in  the  Official  Gazette,  and  comes  into  force  on  the  date  of  its  issuance.
