Oman Sultani Decree No. 87/2022 On the Issuance of the Military Justice Law
Abrogating
Oman Ministerial Decision No. 110/2011 dated 24/10/2011
We, Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman
Pursuant to the perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,
Based on the Judicial Authority Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 90/99,
The Public Prosecution Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 92/99,
The Penal Procedure Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 97/99,
The Military Justice Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 110/2011,
The Penal Code promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 07/2018,
Based on the public interest requirements.
Have issued the following Decree:
Article 1
The provisions of the Military Justice Law enclosed herewith shall be put into effect.
Article 2
The aforementioned Military Justice Law shall be abrogated. Any provision contrary to the attached Law or contradicting with its provisions shall also be abrogated.
Article 3
The present Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall come into force as of the day following the date of its publication.
