Oman Sultani Decree No. 86/2020 Repealing Some Laws

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

the Law Governing Sohar Municipality promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 9/1997,

the Law Governing Regional Municipalities promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 96/2000,

and Muscat Municipality Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 38/2015,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The aforementioned Law Concerning the Regulation of Sohar Municipality, the Law Regulating Regional Municipalities, and Muscat Municipality Law are hereby repealed.

Article 2

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
