We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

the Telecommunications Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 30/2002,

the Civil Service Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 120/2004,

the State Audit Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 111/2011,

Oman Sultani Decree No. 76/2020 Establishing the University of Technology and Applied Sciences,

Oman Sultani Decree No. 78/2020 Amending the Name of the Electricity and Related Water Sector Regulation Authority to the Authority for Public Utilities Regulation and Assigning Some Competences to It,

and Oman Sultani Decree No. 77/2020 Regarding the Public Authority for Consumer Protection,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Those named below are hereby appointed each to the position following their name:

  • Dr Said bin Hamad Al-Rubai - Vice Chancellor of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences with his same grade and financial entitlements.

  • Dr Abdullah bin Khamis bin Ali Ambusaidi - Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Education.
