Oman Sultani Decree No. 73/2020 Approving the Petroleum Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Tethys Oil Qatbeet Limited for Block 58

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 8/2011,

and the petroleum agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Tethys Oil Qatbeet Limited for Block 58 signed on 5 July 2020,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The aforementioned petroleum agreement is hereby approved.

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
