We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman

After perusal of Oman Sultani Decree No. 26/1975 promulgating the Law on the Regulation of the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Oman Law No. 8/1973 on Infectious Diseases,

Based on the public interest requirements,

Have decreed the following:

Article 1

The provisions of the Law on Combating Infectious Diseases enclosed herewith shall be put into effect.

Article 2

The aforementioned Law on Infectious Diseases, Oman Law No. 8/1973 shall be abrogated. Any provision that is inconsistent with the attached Law or contradictory to its provisions shall also be abrogated.

Article 3

The Minister of Health shall issue the decisions necessary to implement the provisions of this Law.
