Oman Sultani Decree No. 69/2020 Appointing a President of the Supreme Court

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 101/1996,

and the Law of the Judiciary promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 90/1999,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Sayyid Khalifa bin Said bin Khalifa Al-Busaidi is hereby appointed President of the Supreme Court.

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
